ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER | ATHENS
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager for our flagship store in City Link, Athens.

Assistant Store Manager
 
Role purpose: The job holder will be reporting to Store Manager and will be responsible for supporting the aforementioned in enforcing operational policies, sales & customer satisfaction, staff training & development in cooperation with the HR Department, and stock management in accordance with overall company sales policy.

Key accountabilities:

  • Schedules, directs, coordinates and controls the activities and the functions of the Store, in order to ensure its smooth day-by-day operation.
  • Applies all company’s policies & procedures, implementing the corporate commercial strategy and cooperating with the Commercial Department to achieve the short- and long-term sales goals.
  • Tracks sales numbers in cooperation with the Floor and the Corners Managers, in order to prevent any deviations through specific actions.
  • Oversees stock efficiency of corners and informs the Commercial Department & Management of any shortages.
  • Always looks for opportunities to improve our store set-ups to improve operational efficiency, making things faster and more accurate.
  • Participates in the Customer Service by cultivating to salesmen a spirit of unique customer experience.
  • Organizes the work needed to be done through effective and constructive communications, setting the right priorities, following timelines and taking initiatives.
  • Creates a positive working environment- motivates employees, inspires enthusiasm in order to have the best possible performance in order to achieve business goals, either are qualitative or quantitate ones.
  • Participates in selection process of the Store personnel.
  • Supervises the compliance with the agreements with suppliers/vendors regarding their staff.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

  • At least 4 years of working experience in a retail environment (ideally with 1+ years managing people).
  • Monitoring and reporting of sales results.
  • Customer centric with a positive attitude.
  • Highly energetic with hands-on mentality since you are expected to lead by example to the team.
  • Strong managerial skills. Ability to lead, train and motivate teams with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work on a retail schedule
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Fluent level of English (written & oral)
  • MS Office skills

We are looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our HR Team.

Role purpose:

As an HR & Payroll Specialist, you will be part of a highly performing and experienced team, reporting directly to the HR - Compensation & Benefits Manager. The role requires someone who enjoys planning and developing systems, has attention to detail and is extremely meticulous and organized.

Key accountabilities:

  • Manage the hiring process cycle, along with employee renewals and terminations
  • Process payroll for employees in the organization by ensuring accurate and timely management of the payroll
  • Maintain personnel database
  • Address and resolve employee complaints relating to payroll, labour law, benefits, and other relevant topics
  • Monitor and maintain data on ERGANI system
  • Support the HR team in various projects
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as per business needs

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR or another related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in a relevant position
  • Very Good use of English language, both writing and speaking
  • Experience in use of MS Office and relevant payroll software systems; prior experience of Scan HRMS (Epsilon Net)
  • Experience with SAP will be considered an asset

We are looking for an organized Floor manager to supervise all Cosmetics floor activities in our flagship store in City Link, Athens.

Cosmetics Floor Manager

Role purpose: 

The Cosmetics Floor Manager reports and cooperates with the Department Store Manager, to reinsure the required product stock, the efficient personnel management, the exemplary customer service and the proper functioning of the Cosmetics floor. 

Key accountabilities:

1. Manage Inventory

  • Ensures, the product plenitude of the shop floor according to customer needs and cosmetics trends. Takes inventory on a regular basis and place orders on products that need to be reordered. Regularly conducts market researches (eg. through visits) and informs the Store Manager about the competition, the market trends or for discounts.
  • Reports sales numbers, provides information and data concerning the demand, contributing to the on time and effective supply of the floor.

2. Personnel management

  • Controls the shift schedule of the beauty advisors and ensures compliance with the store's operating regulations.
  • Monitors and evaluates the suppliers’ b.a. and informs the Suppliers and the Store Manager about performance issues, aiming for their resolution.  
 
3. Exemplary customer service in all functional points of the floor

  • Identifies and prevents any issues related to Customer Service. Responsible for the management of customer complaints – Assists directly customers with any queries or requests.
  • Ensures the cooperation between employees of different corners, aiming at the excellent and quick service of consumers.
 
4. Proper functioning of the floor

  • Implementation of the relevant operating policies and compliance with health & safety rules.
  • Ensures the implementation of planned advertising actions and agreements with suppliers. Prepares, organizes and manages issues related to specific periods (inventory, discounts, festive seasons).
  • Monitors, coordinates and controls the corners and the cashiers of the floor, in order to comply with the store’s rules.
 
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

  • At least 4 years of working experience in the Beauty/Cosmetics Stores (ideally with 1+ years managing people).
  • Monitoring and reporting of sales results.
  • Customer centric with a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work on a retail schedule
  • Fluent level of English (written & oral)
  • MS Office skills
